Hayseed Dixie are notorious for their ‘rockgrass’ covers but with the seventh studio album they have taken inspiration from personal experiences and revealed a new songwriting voice for the band.

The voice of the mighty System Of A Down, Serj Tankian released his first solo album, ‘Elect The Dead’, at the end of last year. Lyrically this record is a lot more vulnerable and intimate than anything he’s ever done before. There are love songs, pain songs, very personal songs and of course there are political songs.
